A few of them got together on Apr. 29 to share ideas at the Keto Klatsch downtown bakery where they were also able to enjoy some delicious treats and a coffee.

Linda K. Hopkins, Lorrie Morales and Linda Rakos are three local authors who got together at the Keto Klatsch – a keto, diabetic, low carb gluten free friendly bakery.

“We want to have meet ups like this more often,” said Morales.

“We want authors to know we plan to have meet ups like this in the future where we can share ideas and talk about a variety of things writers go through.”

Morales says that they are happy to support and give advice to up and coming authors.

“Often first time authors have difficulty knowing what to do when they are finished writing their first book or what to do when they are stuck. We hope to talk about things like this at our gatherings. ”

“Anyone interested in writing is welcomed to come out.”

Morales has a few upcoming events planned.
