Thanksgiving is next week, so if you haven’t started planning yet, it’s time to think about what’s on your table. Why not take the stress out of preparing a family meal with some dishes, desserts and accompaniments from local restaurants?

Here are some of the many places in Baton Rouge that offer special Thanksgiving menu items that you can order to pick up just before your family comes to dinner:

BRQ Seafood and Barbecue

Known for its competition-style BBQ, BRQ has all the best meats for your Thanksgiving pasta. On the Thanksgiving menu, you can choose from a whole smoked turkey, a classic roasted turkey with herbs, or a smoked ham with apple cider brown sugar icing. Each item promises to feed between eight and ten people at your table. If you also need sides, BRQ has you covered with all the bindings. You can check it out full menu here. Be sure to receive your order before Tuesday, November 23rd.

Louisiana-Mexican mixed cuisine

Mestizo offers a unique twist on the classic Thanksgiving dinner. Although Mestizo usually serves Mexican food, the Thanksgiving menu is fairly traditional but surprisingly healthy. Most of the options offered are keto compatible, so you won’t feel too guilty going back for seconds. You can order a family meal for four that includes a 5-pound boneless turkey breast, a pint of turkey sauce (suitable for keto), two sides, and four dinner rolls or four keto muffins. Most sides of the menu support keto, but there are also some common options, such as carrot soufflé and roasted potatoes. There are also keto cheesecakes and other dessert cakes. And of course, don’t forget about daisies per gallon or half a gallon. Check out the full menu at Mestizo’s Instagram.

City Pork Catering and Events

City Pork has a great selection of a la carte sides that you can combine with any protein option. The three protein options are a smoked turkey breast, a half-smoked breast, and a smoked whole breast. If you’re looking for an entire meal, there are four packages to choose from. Packages vary in size, but all include a protein and a two-sided selection of half a frying pan. Packages range from $ 99 to $ 159. Fill yours order form for this Wednesday, November 17, at noon.

Bergeron City Market

Bergeron’s has a full Thanksgiving menu that leaves no holiday dish behind. Whatever you need for your Thanksgiving table, Bergeron’s has it on its special menu. From snacks to soups, to starters and garnishes, you can mix and match any item. The menu order form includes all items and their prices and descriptions. Start yours order forms now because the deadline is this Wednesday, November 17th.

Pizzeria Rocca

Surprisingly, Rocca Pizzeria does not include pizza cakes in its Thanksgiving menu. Instead, there is turkey, sauce and some unique pairings. You can get a full family meal that includes a whole turkey, salsa, seven sides and a pumpkin pie for $ 300. If you’re just looking for the bird, try the $ 150 turkey and pie offer that includes a whole turkey, gravy, pecan pie and whipped cream. While Rocca has some typical Thanksgiving sides, there are also some unique ones, such as roasted rainbow carrots, stewed blueberries and figs, and salted bread. Take a look at theirs holiday menu here and order before Friday, November 19th.
