Duckweed Urban Grocery will open a new location in Tampa’s North Hyde Park

Duckweed / InstagramDuckweed Urban Grocery has grown a lot in recent years, but they still don’t stop.

Last week, the local supermarket announced another location, which will open “in a few weeks” at 500 N. Rome Ave, according to your Instagram.

The official offerings are TBA, but Duckweed is known for its health-conscious selections that cater to diets of all kinds, including vegans and keto. Other locations also offer beer, wine, pet products, ready-to-eat items and other groceries.

The opening marks the fourth location of the grocery store since the small space next to The Hub opened at 305 E. Polk St. nine years ago. This location now resides on the first floor of the Element Apartments at 803 N. Tampa Street, and their second and third locations live at 111, 12 Channelside and 512 St. Bridge. Westshore Marina District.

In 2018, Vegan Farmacy Kitchen + Oven it opened within the first location of the grocery store and has also been made available to the other two.

No official word has been given on whether or not Farmacy will open in the Noho Square store, but Duckweed had hope in the comments of his ad.

“We will need your amazing food for our customers !!” the supermarket wrote next to the labels in Farmacy, Skratch Kitchen Tampa, Chef Clementina i Mickey’s Subs.
